1. Booths and pods were very much a topic of conversation here this month. The early part of October saw us engaged in an office clearance with more booths than we had ever seen before. In a big office, the use of booths is becoming increasingly popular to give workers a private space for conversation or calls without the background hubub of busy colleagues and visitors. With efficient acoustic insulation, booths and pods don't take up much space while they are providing islands of calm, stress free environment which promote efficiendy and clarity of thought and communication. As an added bonus, they also look very chich in the process.
2. Talking of fashionable and trendy items, despite the seriously practical nature of office furniture, it really pays to keep up with trends in the market. There will always be a need for plain, unobtrusive styles, which neither excite nor offent, but furniture with classic lines, modern, funky looks and bright, stimulating colours can also have a big positive effect on morale and attitudes in the workplace. Offices should be places where businesses and their people thrive, rather than merely survive.
This reflects in the layout of our showrooms, where we encourage customers to come and visit, try furniture on for size and envisage how it will look in their workplace. Choosing the right furniture is of vital importance and yes, 100% of our stock is available to buy online but there is nothing better than feeling the vibe when buying in person.
3. There are fireworks ahead! Having just had confirmation of two massive clearances both starting on November 5th, this is going to be an incredibly busy month for us. Not to use too many awful puns, we must stress that we are the guys to call when you want a cracker of a job done, turning any office into a real sparkler on or around bonfire night... I'll get my coat!
